MR. PAUL SIMPSON is a Vice Chairman in Broadridge Financial Solution’s Global Technology and Operations Business (GTO). In this capacity, Simpson works across Broadridge’s Global Markets, Capital Markets and Wealth Management businesses. Simpson also works closely with Broadridge’s global sales teams to accelerate go-to-market initiatives across its businesses leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and technology.

Prior to his role at Broadridge, Paul Simpson spent 33 years in the financial services industry. Most recently Simpson held the position of Global Banking & Markets Operations and Regions executive at Bank of America. In this role, he was responsible for operations for institutional and commercial,small business, corporate, investment banking and government clients. In this role, Simpson also lead the regional technology and operations teamsin the Asia Pacific,
Europe, Middle East & Africa and Latin America regions covering technology, operations, cyber security and support services. During his tenor at Bofa, Simpson was also responsible for robotics, and robotics process automation optimization across Global Technology and Operations. As part of his enterprise responsibilities, Simpson was also the Co- Executive Sponsor for Bank of America Veterans Programs (MSAG) and a member of the firms Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Prior to the above role at Bofa, Simpson was a Managing Director in the Bofa’s Global Markets Division where he ran multiple businesses including Prime Brokerage, Stock Loans, Swaps, Global Custody and Agency Services, Futures & Options, OTC Clearing and Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage. Prior to his Global Markets roles, Simpson led Bofa’s Global Transactions Services business, which included payments, liquidity and investments, receivables, trade and supply chain finance and custody and agency services. Prior to joining Bofa in 2011, Simpson held roles of increasing responsibility with Citibank (NY), JP Morgan Chase (NY), Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (Sydney Australia) and Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank (NY).

Simpson currently holds external leadership and board positions including: Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (Board Member); Archdiocese of Newark (Finance Committee and Investment Committee Chairman); YMCA of Ridgewood NJ (Board Member); Creative Million ( President of a 501c3 that helps women artisans globally); OneHopeChildren – (Board member of a 501c3 that seeks to create a better life for African
Children). Prior board roles include: Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation – DTCC ; Private Export Finance Corporation – PEFCO; Foreign Policy Associates- FPA; and Managed Funds Association (MFA). He has also held various committee leadership positions with the Federal Reserve Payments Risk Committee, Bankers Association of Foreign Trade (BAFT) and SWIFT.

He holds a B.S. in Russian from Georgetown University (minors/concentrations in Business and Chinese) and an MBA in Finance, Economics and International Business from New York University Stern School of Business. He also studied in Moscow at the Pushkin Institute. He also holds his Series 7, and Series 24 licenses.
