Mary Czubakowski’s Timeline
Born in Jersey City, raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mary Czubakowski lived forty years in Glen Rock, Bergen County in New Jersey, and was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Ridgewood, New Jersey, also, a member of Neocaticumenal Way of the same parish for fourteen years before she moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2020. She had B.A in Psychology, Master in Special Education at Hunter College, New York, and Certification in Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) at Montclair State University.
For thirty years, Mary worked as a teacher of the deaf in Philadelphia and New Jersey, primarily with preschool and in mainstream setting serving various ages of hearing impaired children. After retirement, Mary volunteered at various places including: Five years as escort to a hospital for Pet Therapy Program, visiting sick patients with dogs; another five years at a soup kitchen in Paterson, NJ feeding the homeless people; and in Charleston South Carolina as the Chairperson for CARES, an organization focused on collecting items and donations for various non-profit organization, such as Low country Pregnancy Center, Orphaned relief Center etc. She is also a member of Mary’s Women of joy in Daniel Island, South Carolina (women who spend time together to pray for priests, visit the Lord in the Eucharist Adoration, and stand up for the unborn.
Mary has two beautiful daughters, and has interests in music, traveling, reading, swimming, Biking, Walking, knit and time, with friends
