In many rural communities, the lack of clean, usable water threatens health and disrupts daily life, especially for children. To address this urgent need, OneHopeChildren has implemented borehole and water tank projects in areas such as Awhum and Obukpa, bringing safe, potable water closer to home. Community members also receive training on hygiene and sanitation practices to ensure lasting health benefits.
This effort was born from firsthand experience, children once walked over ten miles in search of water before school, often arriving late or missing class entirely. Today, these same communities have reliable access to clean water for drinking and bathing, transforming daily life and giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
